Shane
completed his degree with a minor in Psychology and Nutrition at
Queensland University
of Technology in 2005.
He now specialises in liasing with local doctors to help people with
chronic conditions ranging from arthritis, diabetes, heart disease,
obesity and metabolic disorders.

Shane
co-ordinates the Diabetic Exercise Intervention Program (DEIP).
This initiative is fully funded by Medicare and is available to all Type
2 Diabetics.
Only qualified Exercise Physiologists
have the skills and knowledge to competently work with clients with
chronic conditions. Other trainers may claim to be ‘qualified’ or able
to help you but the federal government only recognises Exercise
Physiologists as being aptly qualified.
So if you have a condition that makes
exercise hard, put your health into the hands of an expert, not just an
ordinary trainer.
Shane’s other speciality is athletes and
sport teams.
Shane has extensive experience with elite
soccer players having played for the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS)
and at state level. This has fuelled his interest in strength and
conditioning with athletes. Shane has been involved with Logan
Basketball Rep programs and Logan FC in the QSL.
